I believe that everyone is deserving of having a fulfilling life. I am also mindful that sometimes our experiences can lead to difficulties that hinder us from achieving the life and relationships we would like to have. I do not necessarily believe that therapy is the only solution when individuals struggle. However, I do believe that anyone who wants to access therapy to work on themselves has the capacity to benefit from it.
I have extensive experience working with a range of therapeutic modalities and as a therapist, I think it I crucial to adapt to my clients’ therapeutic needs and wishes and to offer a modality that best suits them as individuals. I am aware that any therapeutic process can be emotionally challenging and I am committed to supporting my clients through this process by respecting their pace and enabling them to feel safe and contained in our sessions.
I can practice a range of therapeutic models including not only Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) but also Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Schema Therapy. My areas of expertise are trauma, relational difficulties and personality disorder, with both adults and adolescents.
I believe that the only way we can feel truly connected to others is by sharing our vulnerabilities and allowing others to see us. I am committed to helping people feel truly seen. I feel privileged to be in a position where I can work closely with people and bear witness to their stories, in order to help them achieve the lives they want to have.
