Fees & Payment

There are many therapists and counsellors who charge more—especially in our central locations—and many others charging less. We believe our fees fairly reflect the value of our service, no less our experience and training.

Session fees

We charge £145 for virtual individual therapy sessions with face-to-face appointments charged at £175. Couples’ face-to-face therapy is also available and is charged at £220 per appointment and £180 for virtual couples’ therapy.

Making payments

Payment can be made with cash, cheque or bank transfer, at the end of your session. Unfortunately we are not able to accept card payments.

During your first session you will be asked to pay for the current session and for one session in advance, should you wish to continue in therapy. Once your therapist knows you better they may arrange for you to make payments for more than one session at a time,

Health Insurance

Some providers will cover clients for a certain number of sessions, while others will allocate a lump sum. If you are approaching the limit of your current cover it can be possible to obtain a re-authorisation. If you would like to do this it’s important to discuss this with your insurer well in advance, as the process can take a number of days and may result in a disruptive break in your therapy.

In some cases a health insurance provider may require you to see your GP or psychiatrist before coming to us, but this is generally a quick and easy process. It’s a good idea to give your insurer a call to clarify their particular requirements before you contact us.

Important note — Our standard cancellation and holding fees apply for sessions covered by health insurance. You are personally responsible for charges for missed sessions unless your insurance provider agrees to cover them.
